SkyORB features many functions as a 3D real-time representation of the planets position around the sun, the ability to hold your device and point toward a visible star and planet and reveal the name by tracking the GPS position, compass orientation, the elevation from the gyroscope or with ARKit.

SkyORB is free to download and you can upgrade to the premium version directly from the application to enjoy even more features, as notifications and on-the-cloud backup.

Great tool to those that like to take some time admiring the night skies.
Its an awesome little program! I checked the Astral Units on mercury Earth and Saturn and all of them were at 0.0 which makes me wonder how accurate the calculations are..because wouldnt that mean all three planets were sharing the same planetary location?? Just wondering..still I enjoy the graphics and info.

Once you start playing around with it and figure out the controls it is a great app. It does far more than any of the other apps like it do. Ive checked out 6 different and this one so cool Im buying it.
I spend hours on this. Its so interesting, easy, and fun to use. I like this one the best out of all of them.

Some bad moments

Update claimed to address shutdowns. I guess that meant it would cause the app to shut down; it had never done this before but now its unusable. Also feel misled by what was promised in the premium version, specifically full screen. Wanted full screen particularly for my iPhone because the icons and information cover most of the screen and block star viewing, but tracking deactivates as soon as full screen mode is launched.
Where is location Vancouver BC Application keep freezing and crashing
Almost every day I get a request to upgrade this software even after I removed it from the notification list. I dont understand how it can do that but it sure is annoying! The app itself is ok but not easy to figure out. I wouldnt bother with it if you havent already.
Horribly buggy, jerky interface, unintuitive, primitive, semi-functional . . . give me my money back please!
ui is too minimal, too small, no tool tips, star display controls and ecliptic plane not obvious. Swiping seems ineffective with planetary viewer mode. Maybe its my mini 2 iPad. Tool tips would help, better search. Good slick first impression fades to become awkward to use and understand. Also first screen I see each time is settings? Bad first run.
This app deserves to be removed from the App Store and its author deserves a lifetime banishment by Apple. Although I disabled its notifications - even when my devices are offline, it fakes some event like a "meteor shower" to harass the user to buy the full version. It still does solicit the full version even I set "do not disturb" mode on my iPhone and my iPad. Thus it prompted me to write this review, App Store should not be a playground for scavengers or telemarketers of this kind of behavior.
