AWESOME!!! WHAT ELSE CAN I SAY...? Oh ya its F R E E! ! ! Works great on my iPad 2 my iPad mini and my iPhone 5S and 6. My kid really L O V E S this app (almost as much as I do) and did I say it is FREE and that it is AWESOME yet!?!! Thanks sky-orb team!!!

This is a very cool app. If it was simpler or had an easy to understand manual I would have given it 5 stars.

Excellent app... Great graphics and very useful when outdoors and trying to identify constellations... You dont always have your charts, but you always have your phone with app! Stephen Landry

Nice app, but with IAP.

I usually keep *all* astro-related apps on my i-devices. But not this one! The "free" version includes banner ads across the bottom AND is crippled by many missing features. The interface is confusing and cluttered. Rows of icons appear, disappear, and an odd message about "drag this cursor" shows up, but doesnt seem to work. This is my second time trying this app. The first time I deleted it because they placed an always-on clock in the upper left that displayed seconds and hence was perpetually in motion. It was visually distracting. Theyve dropped that, but still leave a clock in space-- and a Facebook icon on the screen, too! In addition, the display and interface are poor. The banner adverts for games across the Bolton is tawdry. The top portion of the screen is blocked by a set of icons--while it might be convenient to have *some* of them available--they need to be at the bottom of the screen!! Otherwise, the app completely destroys the illusion of looking out at the night sky. Some icons are obscure and many are simple toggles. The orrery does NOT work intuitively; other apps handle this much better. In short, I gave up again! Your time--and energy-- to say nothing of $ -- would be better spent elsewhere on richer, fuller apps. Try some if the free or inexpensive light versions of such apps as Distant Suns, Sky Safari, Starmap, etc. Note: they wisely offer tiered versions, without adverts cluttering up the night sky! Youll find excellent orreries, too!

This app has many excellent observational tools. I find it difficult to navigate some of its options but all in all, it is a wonderful source of information and perspective.

I just wanted something to point at the sky and figure out what I was looking at. At one point this app could do that. Now the interface is so complicated that it is a beast to use. Plus, there is no useful documentation. Half the time, it freezes up on me when I want to use it most. Here is the other thing: I spent good money on this app. But then they got rid of the old "free" version and renamed this paid version as the free one. Then they came out with a new paid version. So even though they have my money, I now get constant nags to give them more for a piece of junk. For shame!

I do like that I can point at the sky and see what is there. I have not figured out what and how to use all the features. They keep asking me to invest in the premium version to unlock all the features, but I dont find the features on the free version that easy to utilize. I wish they would add some helping features so there would be on screen info about how to get the most out of it... Then I might consider upgrading for more.

By far one of the worst apps of its kind. Controls are cumbersome, images are difficult to see, and the scales are completely off.

I like this app yet the latest update has seemed to have taken away the visual of any stars outside our solar system which is why I like this app.

Impressive, but havent really compared it to other sky apps. Interface not intuitive, which is frustrating. Hints help a lot. Seems to have gotten somewhat better than when first purchased. Hope it continues to improve. Great graphics.

useless compass heading all off unable to select star mag shows too many faint objects

Easy to use, good graphics, educational, and has many additional features that make this app a pleasure to use.
